Stefan Johnson

I’m a tattoo artist at Paradise Tattoo, and I’ve been tattooing for 20 years. Over the years, I’ve worked in many different styles and continue to grow and evolve with every piece I create.

I’ve always been especially drawn to American Traditional and Traditional Japanese tattooing, but I truly enjoy working in fine line, blackwork, bold color, and black and gray. My artistic focus is broad because I genuinely love it all, whether it’s bold and vibrant, clean and minimalist, or detailed and delicate. Every tattoo is a custom piece, and I approach each one with creativity and respect for the art form.

For me, it’s all about making the client happy. I take a collaborative approach, listening carefully to your ideas and offering guidance when needed. I believe communication is key to creating something meaningful and lasting. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and fully committed to maintaining sterile practices and a safe, professional environment for every client.

One of the greatest benefits of being a tattooer is hearing people’s stories and passions. Tattooing gives me insight into so many different kinds of people and experiences. I believe body art is a powerful form of self-expression, empowerment, creativity, and storytelling, and it’s an honor to help bring those stories to life.

Outside of tattooing, I’ve always loved storytelling in all forms: books, movies, and music. Hiking is another passion of mine and a great way to recharge and find inspiration.
