Jim has been tattooing since 2001.
He's into American, traditional Japanese, black and grey, and portraits, as well as hot rods and skateboard graphics.
Jim likes taking on larger projects or anything that presents a new challenge. He was taught through a traditional old-school apprenticeship and has operated out of street shops exclusively ever since. That hands-on training and decades of experience in a real shop environment shaped the way he approaches tattooing today—with respect for the craft, a focus on detail, and a commitment to giving every client his best work.
Over the years, Jim has earned a reputation for being versatile and dependable. While many artists stick to a single style, Jim enjoys working across a wide range, from bold, eye-catching traditional pieces to intricate black-and-grey portraits that capture lifelike expressions. His background in hot rod and skateboard art also brings a unique edge to his designs, allowing him to create custom tattoos that stand out and reflect each client’s individuality.
Jim takes pride in tackling any request or idea that comes through the door and turning it into a classy, custom tattoo that's tailor-made for each client. Whether it’s a first tattoo or the finishing touch on a full sleeve, he puts the same level of thought and dedication into every piece. He believes tattooing is not just about the artwork itself, but also about the experience—making sure each client feels comfortable, heard, and excited about the art they’re putting on their body.
When he’s not tattooing, Jim is usually sketching, painting, or working on personal art projects that keep his creativity flowing. He’s constantly pushing himself to evolve as an artist, staying inspired by different subcultures, art forms, and his own clients’ stories.
